TV 'personality' 43 has mid-life crisis

The rumoured to be gay, fading TV personlity Graham Norton yesterday awoke and realised he was in fact 43.

In an interview with 'Down with the kids' magazine, Norton said that 'he takes loads of drugs with his coolest friends and they all do as well'. Whilst sniffing furiously he went on to say 'Ecstacy has done wonderful things for me. I go clubbing a lot. Not just a bit, I mean I'm out pretty much every weekend, yes at least two or three times a month and everyones doing 'tabs' it's great, a real conversation piece'

Norton furiously denied reports that he had recently put down a deposit on a 1000cc Harley Davidson motorcycle.

I love the expression 'furiously denied' - me thinks he doth protest too much.

Mike Parry and Andy Townsend were going mental about this story this morning asking why the BBC were so limp wristed in their response.

Judging by the TV producer they interviewed on Radio 5 last night, half the Beeb take drugs, so they probably see nothing wrong in it.

Does one have to grow up if one doesn't have children? Don't those of us who do still kind of really wish we hadn't had to?

Nope you don't have to grow up I suppose, but still bragging about how pissed you got and how many drugs you've taken has a little bit of the cool dad feel about it.

I read a very interesting article in Harpers and Queen (it was in the doctor's waiting room honest) about the increasing phenomenon of ex-Sloans who can't grow up and end up sharing lines with their children and their mates at the kitchen table, all very sad behviour.

Get well soon.

Actually no Lucy this was a few months back. I'm absolutely fighting fit at the moment. However, I am off to steal a flu jab spot from an old person in a couple of weeks time.

Gavin, there seem to always be 2 staple magazines at a GPs surgery, harpers and Queen and Country Life. It seems GPs are massive social climbers and this was even before they had their massive salary hikes.

Survival of the fittest Six, not stealing, imo.
