Well. I've finally been banned from the Five Live boards. I reregistered twice today, following the use of the word 'cunt' and my subsequent premoderation. It was an appropriate usage in my opinion, but I guess some people find it offensive so I accept my premoderation. However, I now recieve the following message whenever i try and post:
'We're sorry, but you are restricted from posting to this site.'
Ah well I suppose it had to happen eventually. I don't seem to be able to use a different browser, or a proxy server. I already can't access using a Mac as for some reason I'm banned at that level, so I'm left with the blog. I'll see you all on the blogs people.

Have you tried another email address etc with no connection to you?
If so two options present themselves...
1. Re-format your hard drive (drastic)
2. Register another email addressd using a different machine. (or get a blog chum to do so for you....) Sneeky or what?
I have reregistered using different email addresses gavin. and i can't be fagged reformatting my hard drive. i'll just leave it for now.
Do you want me to set you up a hotmail account, register at 5L and then email you the details (which you can then change), or not?

They ban you at an IP level - so you could try changing that. Intereting that you have a prroblem on a MAc - it;s no issue for me. What sort of a Mac ? What OS andd browser ?

Six, I don't know what to say, it is REALLY wierd and I can only imagine you persisted in the cunt stuff or they decided to change the rules. Many moons ago I called Tony Silver and Mujaahid dickheads and accepted my month ban...now your faux pas seems to have coincided with BNP/ Muslim shit-for-brains spammers causing trouble for weeks with no apparent or visible punishment whatsoever.

Cunt is a word I can never bring myself to use. I must be such a prude: even in ex-pat heaven getting pissed in darkest Latin America I was still shocked by the casual ("I could smell her cunt") type language.
If you are really desperate just go to an Internet Cafe and log on as mr. complete stranger...as someone says above (Lucy?) it may encourage you to DO SOME FUCKING WORK YOU CUNT....;-)

Hi Six, what can I say? I'm banned too, I get the same message. I don't know why, maybe it was my comment about Cillit Bang, but it's not like I drew a cartoon of it or anything. I think they've lost the plot completely. Coger is still posting there as of this morning, naturally. Please post if you know of happier climes more suitable for Five News refugees. I always liked your posts, but unfortunately missed the one with 'cunt' in it. Shame. Don't let the buggers get you down!
