By the way

The leukaemia's fine.

Sorry I haven't posted about it.

I met up with a friend the other day and almost immediately after he was through the door he said 'How are you?'. He followed that up by saying 'sorry it's just that every time I see you I forget to ask and then kick myself when I get home'.

I thought 'well great' because, I don't want to come across as Mr ill but I guess sometimes that's unavoidable because you are. Thankfully I'm absolutely fine. My physical state is good and progressing towards 'cure'. I'll come back to cure because there's a very long post in that and it by no means concludes that there actually is a cure. And my mental state is much better. I've had quite a few counselling sessions which have really helped and I attended a CML patient conference in Edinburgh in November which was a revelation (again that's another post).

All in all I hit 2008 as happy as I've ever been and I'm not just saying that for effect. See below.

Hey Six, that's a good friend. Too often people won't ask or are afraid to ask in case it upsets the other person. The other curse is that people avoid you in case they feel inadequate.

Good to see you are doing well and feeling happy with yourself and the world.

Hello Six, if you're going to write on here more can you archive some posts. You have the whole blog on one page and it takes for ever to load. I know I mentioned this before and 'we decided' it wa asyour radio cube....well maybe it was that too. If you archive post you don't lose any of them they just come under a linked list of weeks/months/whatever.

I'm like your friend except i would have said it before (you say he wanted to say it before) I'm afraid I'm not very 'tactful' ...on purpose - dancing round a problem/issue bugs me so I bring it out into the open even if it means people think I'm a bit of a tit. Unfortunately I'm the same at funerals etc...why do people have to mumble and murmur or look at the ground avoiding conversation?

Hey Paul. Happy new Year. I am happy with life in fact I haven't been happier, I'm lucky that I have a lot of very good and caring friends around me hence my need to maintain and treat them with more respect.

Span hello, yep I'm pretty much the same as you, bull in a china shop.

I thought I was archiving, in my template it's set to archive every month. How do I do it beyond that?

I just looked in to ask how you were, and lo and behold, you answered my question straight out! That's great news!

Have a brilliant 2008 - you deserve it.
