''It is Jenas, football's first ever jack of no trades and master of none, who is the real duffer in Eriksson's squad. Studies show that, of the 124,561,892,756 paths any given football match can take, not one will prompt a manager to think: "I need Jermaine Jenas here." Yet nobody criticises him.''
Just in case you didn't see it I got taken to pieces on the 606 boards (messages 31 and 38) for backing Hargreaves if Gerrard isn't fit for Paraguay. I do protest a little as my comment was taken slightly out of context and put on the 606 homepage so the thread got massive traffic. Doesn't pay to annoy hosts

Congratulations, I knew you would get published one day ;)
You're not on 606 any longer. Shame !
You;re right about Jenas though. WTF is he doing there ? how about picking a backup striker for heaven's sake.
LOL! I have to confess, I know very little about either player.
And after Saturday can i just say how come Gerrard can't hit a barn door wen he plays for England but show him an FA cup final and it;s a different bleedin' story. Grrr.
David,
I thought the very same thing myself.
mind you compared to Ronaldo last night Jenas is Pele Maradona and Garrincha rolled into one.
Get well soon Six, England are playing tonight...
I can't understand why Darren Bent, the top English striker in the Premiership, has been left behind but a player who's never played a match in the Premiership gets in the squad.
Logic seems to say that Theo Walcott is not yet good enough to play for Arsenal but he is good enough to play for England.
Funny old game, football!
This site is one of the best I have ever seen, wish I had one like this.
